Individuals:

The TIN is issued by the Ministry for Revenue only to individuals that are engaged in a business/economic activity and have obtained a business license. It is not automatically issued to all tax residents.

Format:

The TIN consists of at least 5 digits (starting from number 70004).

Entities:

Similarly to individuals, the TIN is issued by the Ministry for Revenue to entities when applying for a business license.
